About us

izimg is built by Sunshine Software Labs — a small team that ships focused utility apps across the web, iOS and Android.

Why we built izimg

Most image tools make you upload your photos to a server, wait in a queue, and hope nothing is kept. We think that's backwards: your browser is already a powerful computer, so why send your files anywhere?

izimg puts 13 image tools — compress, resize, crop, convert, edit and more — directly in your browser. Everything runs locally, everything is free, and your images stay yours.

Part of the iz family

izimg is one of our products. We also build izpdf, a browser-based PDF toolkit with merge, split, convert and e-sign tools, along with a portfolio of mobile utilities for everyday tasks.
