izimg is designed so that your images never have to trust a server.

Processing stays on your device

Every operation — compression, resizing, cropping, conversion, editing — is executed by your browser using WebAssembly and standard web APIs. Your files are read from disk, processed in memory, and written back out. Nothing is transmitted.

No account required to use the tools

You can use every tool without signing up. When you do create an optional account, your password is stored with industry-standard hashing and your session is kept in an HTTP-only cookie.

No tracking of your content

We do not analyze, store, or share the contents of your images. Basic operational logs (page visits, errors) contain no image data.

Secure connections

The site is served over HTTPS. All third-party scripts and assets are loaded from trusted origins only.
